The Library

What kinds of materials are in the Library?
A wide range of educational materials for you and your patients - patient handouts, bulletin boards and clinic helps, patient games, multilingual handouts, CPE webinars, research time-savers, and specialty resources. Looking for something specific? Email us at [email protected] and we'll consider adding it.
Can I browse the Library before I join?
Yes! Everything in the Library is open to browse as a guest - no account needed. You can also download our free Freemium Bundle of 9 dietitian-favorite resources to keep, so you can see the quality for yourself.
How do I access the Library after I join?
Right away - you'll have full access to every resource in the Library as soon as your membership goes through, no waiting period. We'll email your login details immediately, or you can sign in anytime using the account icon in the top-right corner.
How often do you add new content?
Every month. Each monthly release is a brand-new pack: a Patient Education Kit for your patients, plus a CPE Roundtable and Clinical Tool for you - and every monthly kit includes handouts in both English and Spanish. We're also continually reworking older handouts to keep the quality of the entire Library high.
How do you keep your education aligned with current guidelines?
All of our education is built on KDOQI and KDIGO guidelines. Just as importantly, our team is made up of renal dietitians with extensive hands-on experience in dialysis and CKD care - so every resource is both evidence-based and practical for real clinic use.
How do you create resources in other languages?
We follow a three-step process. First, a dietitian who speaks the language and knows the culture (a renal dietitian whenever possible) reviews the resource for cultural fit - swapping out foods that aren't relevant to that patient population and adding ones that are. Next, a professional native-speaking translator translates the resource. Finally, the same reviewing dietitian checks the translation to make sure it reads naturally for patients, and records a native-language video for the QR code.
Why do all your resources have a QR code?
Because sometimes an extra explanation - especially a video one - makes all the difference. Patients can scan the code later if they were asleep during your visit, and family members who weren't in the room can watch at home. On translated handouts, the video is recorded by a native-speaking dietitian, helping bridge language barriers.

Membership & Billing

Can I cancel my membership anytime?
Yes, absolutely. Cancel whenever you like, and you'll keep full access to the Library until the end of your paid term. For example, if you pay monthly on the 1st and cancel on the 15th, your access continues until the 1st of the following month.
Does my membership renew automatically?
Yes. Both monthly and annual memberships renew automatically until you cancel. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime from your dashboard, or reach out to our support desk and we'll take care of it within 1 business day. Prefer not to subscribe at all? You can always buy individual resources instead.
Will I be reminded before my membership renews?
Yes - for annual memberships, we send reminder emails one month before, one week before, and the day before your renewal date, so there are no surprises. Monthly memberships renew on the same date each month, so your billing is always predictable. And remember, you can cancel anytime - and if a monthly renewal ever catches you off guard, we offer a full refund within 2 business days of the charge.
What is your refund policy?
We keep it simple and fair:
  • Annual memberships: Cancel within one month of your renewal and we'll refund the full amount. After that, we'll issue a pro-rated refund based on the time you've had access to the Library.
  • Monthly memberships: Cancel within 2 business days of your renewal and we'll issue a full refund. After that, we'll cancel your membership right away and you'll keep access through the end of that billing period.
How do I cancel my membership?
  1. Click your name/account icon in the top-right corner and select My Account.
  2. Go to Billing > Subscriptions.
  3. Click Cancel next to your subscription.
Your subscription will be marked Cancelled, and you'll continue to have access to KNI Pro Library until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged on your next renewal date.
How do I change my membership?
To upgrade or downgrade your membership (for example, from Support to Advantage), click here to complete the Change Access form. Our team will process the change for you and let you know when the change will take effect and when you can expect to see any updates to your billing.
How do I get my CPEs with the Advantage Membership?
Sign in to your Advantage Member account and go to the Active CPE Courses page. Your 12 free CPE courses and podcasts are automatically unlocked as part of your membership - watch or listen whenever it's convenient for you.
Can I buy individual resources instead of a membership?
Yes! Every handout, board, and kit in the Library is available for individual purchase - no subscription required. Shop individual resources
Do you offer corporate discounts for large teams?
Our Teams membership is already steeply discounted for large corporate teams, so no additional discounts are available.
Are your CPE courses approved by CDR?
Yes! Our CPE webinars and podcasts are CDR-approved, and Advantage members receive 12+ CPEUs per year included with their membership.
What's the difference between your membership plans?
We offer two plans, and both save you money with annual billing:
  • Support - For RDs who want the full resource library: educational handouts, clinic helps and bulletin boards, games and patient activities, multilingual handouts in 5 languages, specialty resources (PD, CKD, transplant), and research time-savers. $25/month, or $199/year (that's about $17/month).
  • Advantage (our most popular plan) - Everything in Support, plus monthly CPE webinars (12+ CPEUs/year), 20% off all Renal Nutrition Mastery courses, and early access to new releases. $40/month, or $299/year (about $25/month).

Do I keep resources I've downloaded if I cancel?
Resources you've purchased individually are yours to keep, always. For membership downloads, we simply ask that you honor our usage policy: resources are for use with your own patients and within your own practice. They may not be resold, redistributed, or shared with other dietitians who don't have a membership - including in forums, company emails, or shared drives. We're a small team of renal dietitians, and honoring this is what keeps the Library affordable and growing. Thank you!
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Absolutely - just email our team here and we'll get you switched over. It's worth it: annual billing brings Support down to about $17/month ($199/year vs. $25/month) and Advantage down to about $25/month ($299/year vs. $40/month).
What payment methods do you accept?
You can check out through our secure payment processor using a credit card or PayPal. We also accept checks for annual memberships - just email our support team to request this. For Corporate and Teams memberships, we can accommodate ACH transfer, check, and invoicing, and we're happy to provide a W-9 or any other documentation your organization requires.
